I am flattered by the award. I thank the judges for considering my presentation with such a high appraisal. It feels very rewarding receiving such positive feedback. It makes me proud of the improvements I have made since the beginning of my PhD and equally it gives me confidence to continue pursuing this career. It has not been a solitary path but accompanied by inspiring supervision from my tutors. I would like to also thank the invaluable support from my departmental peers, who significantly helped improving my presentation through constructive critics and rehearsal. With this I would like to emphasize the importance of a healthy and supportive working environment in the outcome of our research.
