Hello, My name is Elvis Carrillo and I am a seniro studying Earth Science at Cal State Dominguez Hills. I wanted thank you for such a prestigious award. This award honors my undergraduate research and validates the role it will play in the future for California residents. I appreciate you taking the time to learn more about my research, asking me questions that will help guide future projects, and most importantly for giving me feedback that will help me as I enter graduate school. This was a great way to end my undergraduate experience! It was first time attending AGU as student and presenter, and this award has motivated to continue my studies in geoinformatics as a tool to communicate science.
