What led you to Earth and Space science?

Not only me, every scientist will have always query about mother earth. In my perspective it is really important to protect and explore new scientific means in every bit of a research.

How long have you been a member of AGU and why did you join?

Previous year (2016) onward I am a great follower of every news and scientific establishments related to AGU. The wisdom of knowledge we got from AGU is huge.

What are you working on now?

I am working as a PhD student in Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. My area of research is to study the fluctuations of shoreline configurations. The past multi-spectral satellite imageries are used to analyse the rate of shoreline change over historical period. The climate models wind data is used to simulate the future wave data using wind-wave model and hydrodynamic characteristics of the study locations are used for the simulation of future shorelines after successful calibration of the shoreline change model. The soft computation technique is used to cross-verify the future shoreline positions and rate of change of future predictions were compared with past rates
