What led you to Earth and Space science?

That was in 1983 when I made a conseptual video program of the first Floating Production Storage and Offloading vessel FPSO, Petrojarl 1. The ship is tailor made to operate on marginal fields. I use TERRAGEN and make terrain pictures and animation combined with AUTODESK Combustion Digital Content Creation. You can go to my web page www.petrofilm.com and see and read what I do. Cheers!

How long have you been a member of AGU and why did you join?

I have just joined.

What are you working on now?

I am working on an animation wit size 2500×1000 pixels, and visual format 1:2.5 the animation will be two minutes in duration and be completed in mid-September. The purpose of this animation is to visualize a place on Mars called Cydonia with the pyramids and the landscape as it must have been when people lived there. The pyramid in the animation is 198m tall and off course you see the typical Mars terrain. One feature is that the whole animation is created during sunset, or light setting and this makes for very beuatiful scenery with red sky and bright yellow sky line. Anyone interested to have a copy when it’s ready can write to me and I’ll send a copy for free. Cheers.
